Important answers
Does completing an online course give me a permit?
No. A course certificate is not a concealed-weapons permit and does not authorize carry. You must satisfy every application, background, fingerprint, training and agency requirement and receive the permit from the appropriate government authority.
Can I take the Arizona course as a non-resident?
The Arizona course is designed for resident and qualified non-resident applicants. Final eligibility and permit issuance are determined by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Do California courses require live-fire qualification?
Yes. California initial and renewal courses include a separate live-fire requirement. Confirm that the online course, instructor, facility, forms and qualification are accepted by your issuing agency before enrolling.
Can I stop and return later?
The platform is designed for self-paced learning and saves progress so students can return to the course. Review the specific course page for access and completion requirements.
Is the preliminary Arizona quiz an approval decision?
No. It is an informational screening tool only. It does not provide legal advice, confirm eligibility or guarantee that a permit will be issued.
